Dhena Arendina Florance is a Dutch media and PR expert specialised in high-stakes communication and personal branding. She works with public figures, leading political and humanitarian organisations and directors of major global corporations but also builds publicity for unknown brands and people from the ground up.

Dhena has led viral political and humanitarian campaigns, reaching over 80% of national media while generating millions of views across social platforms. She translates politically sensitive issues into compelling, profitable and widely resonant narratives, engaging diverse demographics. Over a decade of experience in the field is what ensures smooth navigation through challenging demands and quickly shifting dynamics.

Dhena earned her Master’s degree in International Relations and Security (MIPA) at The Hong Kong University and studied China’s Foreign Affairs at The Peking University in Beijing. She is currently specialising in both Social Anthropology at The University of Oxford LL and Digital Humanities at Harvard Business School Online. Her Bachelor of Arts was earned at The Academy for Creative Economy where she build expertise in transmedia productions, concepts in a digital age, trend watching, gamification, and consumer behaviour. Dhena's advocacy for women's health led to her contribution in the book 'Diagnose? Woman.' She was invited to speak at the launch of the National Women's Health Strategy, alongside Her Majesty Queen Máxima, ministers Agema and Dijkstra and leading feminist institutions.
Oxfam Novib for Palestine
Together with film director Sahil, Dhena co-created a viral campaign to halt arms transport to Israel, uniting politicians and public figures. Oxfam later turned this into 'Niet in mijn naam' and mass 'Rode Lijn' demonstrations, bringing hundreds of thousands to the streets, marking the 2nd-largest protest in Dutch history.
Orange the world x United Nations Women
All Media & PR initiatives for The United Nations’ global Orange the world Campaign against gender based violence are currently directed by Dhena for The Netherlands as well as UN Women NL's Media, PR and Ambassadors strategies with celebrities and public figures.
Open Mind x SRHR
Dhena advocates for menstrual health and rights through campaigns, by speaking and by moderating events. Her billboard was featured at Amsterdam's Museum Square right next to the famous Rijksmuseum, demanding attention for sexual reproductive health and rights.
Post Apartheid x Cape Town
Together with Cape Town based Violence Prevention Through Urban Upgrading, Dhena worked on major donor and fundraising campaigns addressing post apartheid crises. She also led an initiative to ‘Bring tech to Townships’ together with youth in Khayelitsha and Villiersdorp.
